Found this while browsing. Many of you probably already have seen this/done it. Ok, open up firefox and type about:config in the address bar. Now scroll down until you find network.http.pipelining (boolean/list is in alphabetical order). After doing this, change the value from false to true. Same thing with network.http.proxy.pipelining.
Now, find network.http.pipelining.maxrequests and set the value to around 30. If you cannot find it…Right click on the screen and select New>Integer. Type network.http.pipelining.maxrequests and set the value to around 30.
Next, create another Integer naming it: nglayout.initialpaint.delay. Set this value to ZERO. This last bit was found on Clipmarks.com
